    Maximum snapshot resolution

    Hi there,

I need to develop a midlet that works on several mobiles and is able to take snapshots in the highest available resolution. Does anybody know how to determine the maximum width and height for a snapshot which I may pass getSnapShot via the parameter 'encoding'?

I already tried 'System.getProperty("video.snapshot.encodings")', which does not provide any information about the available resolutions (at least on my Nokia phones).
Specifying no width/height parameter in the encoding string results in a photo with size 160x120

    Thanks for your help,

    Re: Maximum snapshot resolution

Ok, I figured out that there is a solution in JSR 234 (CameraControl.getSupportedStillResolutions). Is there really no possibility using the MMAPI?
