    How to interface between symbian c++ and java midlet

    Hi,

    I am new to symbian c++. Is there some way to use java class functions from a java midlet in my symbian c++ application.

    That usually would make nop sense really, you propably could find Symbian C++ API implementations that are easier to utilize than trying to use Java API for them.

    Anyway, when people have used Symbian c++ APIs from Java, one way has been using local socket communication, dunno, but maybe that could also work in the otherway around.

    Hi Jukka,

    I would like to know if there are any documentation or sample code on how to call symbian c++ functions from J2ME.

    No real documentations, but there have been quite many discussions on that topic. Basically you would run the Symbian application as a server that listens local host in some pre-defined port and replies back when Java application send query to that port.
