    USB Driver/Firmware for Embedded Host

Hi, I would like to connect my E65 to a USB Host which is connected to a MCU, and then send data to the E65's Com Port. My question here is where do I get the driver or firmware to add into my USB Host so that it can read my E65? Thank you.

The Nokia USB cable drivers come with Nokia PC Suite, and are only for Microsoft Windows (binaries only, no source code provided).

Nokia PC Suite and the cable drivers you can find on http://www.nokia.com/pcsuite

What about if I connect to a USB Host that contains USB CDC drivers? That will allow my USB port to become a virtual serial port.

Have you checked these two examples MIDP2 and Symbian?

I have already implemented the MIDP2 example on my E65.
The 2 examples will solve the mobile phone software interfacing but in order to be even able to detect the mobile phone and send data to it, do I need any special protocols for the USB host? I tried sending data using UART with a MCU but it did not work.

    This method did not work:
MCU ---> serial cable TX/RX ---> Data +/- of USB cable ---> Mobile Phone

    Trying this now
MCU ---> serial cable ---> USB Host ---> USB cable ---> Mobile Phone
Any special drivers/protocols for the USB Host to read my E65? Or is USB CDC sufficient?
