Question Push Registry SMS doesn't work until MIDlet launched manually once.

On the Nokia 6086 (Series 40), I have a MIDlet that uses the push registry (statically) to launch on an incoming port-directed SMS.

This works (yay!), but only AFTER I've launched the app manually at least once (boo!). I need the MIDlet to launch on the incoming SMS the first time it occurs regardless of whether the user has manually launched the MIDlet or not.

It's important to note that I can reproduce this regardless of whether the MIDlet is signed or not.

    The relevant JAD entries are:

    MIDlet-1: SmsTestMidlet,,com.timjohns.experiments.SmsTestMidlet
    MIDlet-Permissions: javax.microedition.io.Connector.sms, javax.microedition.io.PushRegistry, javax.wireless.messaging.sms.receive, javax.wireless.messaging.sms.send
    MIDlet-Push-1: sms://:5000,com.timjohns.experiments.SmsTestMidlet,*

Anyone know how to get the app to launch the FIRST time the incoming SMS arrives, before the application has been launched manually?
