    Question problem related to full screen

    Hello all,
    I have a need of full screen view for my uiq application.
    i want to hide my control pane.
    can you give me some api for it rather than CEikButtonGroupContainer* pCba = Cba();
    pCba->MakeVisible(!bDimmed);
    SetExtentToWholeScreen();

    Thanks
    deepak

    Why? What is wrong with SetExtentToWholeScreen (or SetRect to AppUi::ApplicationRect)?

    Re: problem related to full screen

    I do not know, since I have S60 devices.

    However it took me 1.5 minutes to
    - visit developer.uiq.com
    - click on Forums & FAQs
    - type full screen into the Search field
    - press Enter
    - and check the very first hit in the Forums (not the Knowledge Base)
    And there is already something with I could start something. I do not know if it helps, since TQikViewMode does not seem as a class which would be available on S60, but your code apparently misses it.
    And by the way, "this Api is not works for UIQ in my application" does not seem to be a detailed explanation about what is / is not happening.

    Hi,

    i think setfullscreen should work .i think you may miss to call SetViewModeL(), after full screen. you can try something like below.

    TQikViewMode* m_bViewMode= new(ELeave) TQikViewMode();
    m_bViewMode->SetFullscreen();//SetFullscreen();
    m_pView->SetViewModeL(*m_bViewMode);
    I think this wii better to discuss these issues on uiq forum.
    Hope this will help you.

    Thanks
