    Socket Server Problem

I have made a tcp server which will listen on a specific ip and port, it is working fine but the problem is that i donot have any public ip. i am behind a proxy server and when i try to listen on my local ip, obviously it would not be visible from outsid. how to overcome this problem. i am using c# as programming language.

Same is the problem on client side that on my mobile phone. i am using gprs connection and they are also not providing me public ip. is any class in symbian c++ to tacke proxy servers.

    Re: Socket Server Problem

If you dont have public IP then how can outside world will know about you? I think you need public IP in case you are testing using device. For testing purpose you can use emulator which can find server using local IP and port number.
