    Error CFptProtocolDeri -2

    Is there anybody that ever happened (CFptProtocolDeri -2) error?

    I am trying to retrieve a file of FTP server.

    My connection of the server is alright. However, the erro happened when I try to download a file.

    My code is:

    CCFTP_Engine* notifier = CCFTP_Engine::NewL();

    FTPsession = CFTPSession::NewL(notifier);

    THostName name;
    name=_L("fagner-pc1");
    _LIT8(KUser,"fpa");
    _LIT8(KPass,"fpa");

    FTPsession->Connect(name,KUser,KPass,CFTPSession::Epassive,21);

    _LIT8(KFileRemote,"primeiro.txt");
    _LIT(KFileLocal,"primeiro.txt");

    FTPsession->Retrieve(KFileRemote,KFileLocal,CFTPSession::EOverwrite,CFTPSession::EASCII,CFTPSession::EStream);

    FTPsession->Close();
    Please, help me!

    will u try this,may be it can solve ur problem.

    FTPsession->Connect(name,KUser,KPass,CFTPSession::EActive,21);
    or
    FTPsession->Connect(name,KUser,KPass);

    FTPsession->Retrieve(KFileRemote,KFileLocal,CFTPSession::EOverwrite,CFTPSession::EBinary,CFTPSession::EStream);

    Update:
    y did u used CFTPSession::EASCII ,Is ur data in ascii mode if it is in binary use that one.

    The error persist.

    My data is ASCII mode.

    It is very strange. The error didn't happen when I don't try to retrieve a file and I see the client connected on the server.

    I search on the net, but I found nothing about it.

    please, any help?
