    Symbian Signed down?

    Hi,

Since early yesterday I've been trying to get a couple applications signed - one for S60 another for UIQ. Both are "multiple .sis" apps, i.e., each is a .zip with multiple .zip archives inside. The S60 worked fine, and the first .sis in the UIQ one worked, but then all the rest failed, and then all subsequent attempts since then to sign (even after starting all over) failed:

    --------------------------------
    Application Submission Error

    Signing failed

    Submission error:

"Application signing failed or unable to upload file to ACS signing service."

Skip this application or interrupt the whole submission process.
    ---------------------------------

Aside from the S60/UIQ difference, the applications here are the same application, so I don't think there is anything wrong with the UIQ app that would explain this.

Is the Symbian Signed site having troubles? During this time period, I have also been getting a "Down for maintenance" message at times.

    Thanks

    Mark Peters

Yes, it does, you can read other threads about it on this forum. By the way: this site is called Forum Nokia, and if you carefully check, "Nokia" and "Symbian" are two different words, and they are names of two different companies.

So, isn't Nokia holding most of the Symbian stocks?

That doesn't mean that they are running Symbian Signed service though.
