    Question Err -5 calling NewMtmL()

    Hello,

    I am trying to install a custom mtm on an E61 device but CClientMtmRegistry->NewMtmL() returns -5. I am able to install fine on the emulator, and see the mailbox, etc. The install proceeds fine on the device, and I get this error when running my install.exe.

    I have signed with a dev cert with all necessary caps. Any other ideas why I would get a -5? Could it be related to the UIDs I'm using for the msg type? Or do I have to use UID3 from protected range for my projects?

    Thanks!

    I also tried with the TextMTM example, and I get the same thing: -5. Could it be a problem only related to E61 with the fw level I have?

    I tried with an E70 as well, and same error -5 KErrNotSupported. Anyone know why I could be getting this error? Would it make a difference on a S60 feature pack 1 or 2 device?
