    KErrPermissionDenied -48

    I gave the capability NetworkServices in MMP file, and when installing the app, this capablility is listed, however when I trying to make a call, -48 is immediately shown, can somebody give me a hint? thx a lot

    And I` m using 3.1 SDK, with N81 handset

    Could you specify the function that returns (or leaves with) -46?

    The on-device debugger can not stop at the break-point now. but I guess it should be the first funcion that uses telephony functionality, say RTelServer.Connect()

    no, since I see the app pane, and see my error code printed on the screen, I guess it is the asynchronous call RCall.Dial() which caused the problem

    now I got the TRK work right (by install a carbide 1.3)
    and yes, when I called RCall.Dial()
    in the RunL() of this Active Object, the status is -46

    you should use CTelephony API instead.

    thx. just find that info in symbian forum and tried the CTelephony, it works fine, thx
