Local port of an HTTP session

    Hi!

I need to know the local port used by an HTTP session. I can get it with RConnection::Control() method but I do not like this approach because
    1. I need to enumerate through all open connections
    2. NetworkControl capability is needed

Perhaps there is a way to do the job with one of RHTTPxxx classes. Or maybe (it would be even better for me) there is a way to specify the local port explicitly before starting a session.

I will very appreciate any help.

    Thanks,
    ivey

You can check if implementing a HTTP Filter (search for *httpfilter* in the SDK Help) meets your requirements.
The other way could be the IPHook API perhaps - however it is not part of the public SDK-s, and there are only a few, pretty empty discussions about it.

    Thanks wizard_hu_!

I checked http filters API, but unfortunatelly have not found anything that could help so far. I'll try to study it more thoroughly
