RE: conflict between Nokia 6310i and palm application (bluetooth)

Interesting. I also have a Tungsten T running PalmOS 5.0 and much older firmware for my phone (v4.07) and it works fine without any problems.

    Phone software problem perhaps?

conflict between Nokia 6310i and palm application (bluetooth)

I'm a little desperate, I've bought a palm Tungstene T and a nokia 6310i to make it work together and I have the following problem: when i use the "send & check" or "check" function in the palm sms application, I get a "incorrect response for the phone, check your settings" when i execute the "test" for the connection with the palm it answer that connection is ok and he reconize the nokia. So I tried every download from nokia and palm, try to unpaired the devices, and then paired them again. Either the sms checking doesn't work and sending sms, the other palm applications (dialer, send address, calendar items,...) works or checking is working once but then the dialer give the "incorrect..." answer and after nothing is working anymore. Did you find a solution for this problem. Thank you

    I'm using:
    palm OS System v.5.0
    BT 1.1 compliant (v4.0)
    6310i firmware v.5.10
    Palm SMS v.4.5P
    Windows 98

    Additional software/drivers installed:
Nokia 6310i driver (available in Palm site)
