    Sockets: How to Get Number Of Bytes Sent ./ Received??

    Hi All,

    In My App i am Connecting to a Few Servers, I need to Know the number of Bytes Sent/ Received?? I can keep a Counter Variable and Each time i Send or Recieve i Can Increment it, but Is there any Class to do so.??

    You can check the transferred bytes in general, I think this example could be use for you then http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...taCounters.zip.

    I used my own data counters one for send and one for Recv and updated them each time i sent or recvd data by appropriate number

    You could also use RConnectionmonitor API for this I suppose, and Wiki has an exmaple for it also.

    But i believe RConnectionMonitor aggregates Data from all network based applications which are currently on and using the network is'nt it?? I am not sure abt this statement i made. i want to find out the traffic for my app only. anyways ill check out RconnectionMonitor API
