    Future-dated SMS?

    I'm working with the SMS-sending code on Symbian 9.2fp3, using the SmsHandler example in the wiki forum.. initially I used RSendAs, but found that the message is always shown on the "Sent" folder, and to be able to delete it I used the SmsHandler example.

    Right now it's working on the device. But the problem is, the message created seems to have a future date, and as such, is "waiting" to be delivered in the outbox.

    From the example code (SmsHandler.cpp), the lines are here:
    Code:
        entry.SetSendingState( KMsvSendStateWaiting );
        entry.iDate.HomeTime();
    Is there a way to ensure that "HomeTime()" refers to now? Currently it seems to follow a different time zone from the handset's. Any help/pointer appreciated.

    You could try universal time instead.
