How to Create Self Signed Root Certificate with App Installation property enabled

    Dear Nokia Expert,

I am trying to test my signed midlet on E65, Unfortunately the root self signed certificate which I have installed can only have two Trust settings:
    1. Internet
    2. Online cert. check.

Application Install trust setting is Missing or either is disable on some nokia devices.

Is there a way where I can create a self signed certificate with this property enabled, otherwise my signed midlet is going to fail the certificate check.

Please if possible point me to the documentation which I can refer to for self signing testing for all nokia series phones.

    Thanks & Regards,
    ychitnis

Self Signing is not possible with J2me apps, at least not on Nokia phones (while, for example, motorola allows such a possibility for developer purposes). To sign a midlet you have no other choices than buy a certificate from certificate authorities (like Verisign).
