    Detecting volume up/down keys

    Hi there,
    I couldn't find a way to capture the Volume up/down key events. Is it me or is it pyS60?

    Cheers,
    Ali Shafai

    Hello Ali ,

    It's Python S60 !
    You can't capture Volume up/down with PyS60 (didn't return scancode nor keycode !)
    There's a API for mediakey in C++ but it's another story :-D
    Yes , you need another 3rd party module for that ...

    pys60 1.4.5 and 2.0.0, pygame, PyS60 CE on E90 and 5800 !

    Find my pys60 extension modules on cyke64.googlepages.com

    Perhaps, you could look if there is already an existing module for this.
    As far as I know, I don't think it has been ported to Python for S60 yet!
    You could add it to the Feature request list.

    hi ali
    cyke64 has made the picture very much clear if you are really interested you can go for writing an extension. or find out another way to approach your objective.
