How to run a midp midlet in a browser?

    How can this be done?

Is it possible to tweak the standalone emulators to do this?

I know that there is a open source MicroEmulator that will run midp programs in an applet, but this does not support the com.nokia packages that my midlet needs to run.

    Hello,

As far as I know, there is no support for emulating Nokia Java phones in an applet.

    Regards,

Since MicroEmulator is open source, you could add support for the com.nokia packages yourself.

If you're willing to pay, you could also look at the Macrospace emulators:

    http://www.macrospace.com/j2me.web.device.emulation.shtml

They specifically offer "Nokia 7210 Web Emulation", but I don't know if that includes support for the com.nokia packages.

    Hello

Please, have a look at this.

    http://me4se.org/

The purpose of this project is to make Java 2 Micro Edition APIs like LCDUI and the Generic Connection Framework available for the Java 2 Standard Edition.

    Motivation:

Provide some limited development support for platforms where no emulator is available.
Allow demonstration of MIDlets before installantion on the device.
Enable Personal Java devices to run MIDlets

    I hope this helps you
