What's in the "Limited Edition" of S40.5?

Is "LE" a set of new features for various S40 5th edition phones? If it is, what's added?

As far as I know, talking about J2me features, there are no differences between limited and standard editions of those phones.

The naming is there for a reason. The LE phones have less APIs available as well as also less memory (meaning smaller JAR sizes and less heap) - when compared to Series 40 5th Edition devices

Is there a table I could refer to for a listing of the features of each edition? A PDF I found somewhere around here didn't mention LE.

And BTW, are JAR/heap sizes for each edition supposed to be one of a few possible combinations, or are totally random?

    Check again

There is a legend under the Series 40 table.

The 5th Edition column contains + signs if that API is not part opf LE

Maybe we need to make that data a little more visible in there...

    You're right. Thanks.

Perhaps it should be mentioned at the top, and use color coding.
