Is it possible to control one device by another one over bluetooth?

    Hello i am new here!

I'm not really into python programming but i want to try to write a program for my N-Gage and N95 that allows me to control my N95 by the N-Gage device, so it would be very comfortable to play games.

The main question is 'Is it possible?!' .

I already tried the bluetooth-chat from "Mobile Python Book" and sending file from phone to phone with OBEX server-client. the worse thing is, it worked only if N-Gage was the BT-Chat-Server and N95 the client and the file transfer only worked if N-Gage was the Server and N95 the file sender... otherwise n-Gage had an 'Broken Pipe' error by trying to sent the file and 'SymbianError 2' by trying to connect to the chat server.

The Problem is, all How-To's and Tutorials i found on the web are for S60v3 Python 1.4.x version with all the powerfull possibilities but my little n-gage with S60v1 and Python 1.2 can't handle it.

I guess you run two problems

    1) The latency time for commands is too long

    2) Sending keypresses to third party games might be impossible

So I don't recommend you to pursue your goal
