Thumbs down N73 backup problem; how to restore to device from backup file

    Hi All,

I am using N73 Music edition. I had upgraded to the latest firmware version (V 4.0750.31.2.1)

I had taken a backup of the mobile phone. But there was some problem in the restore process. I was NOT able to restore the data back to my mobile phone.
Luckily, I have the backup.arc file ( created by the backup application) with me.

Does anybody know how to restore the previous data to the device from the backup file?

Thanks in advance for the help.

    Regards,
    Abhay

it depends on how you back your file... if you use PC Suite to back-up your files but it failed, it only means that you are not able to back your files. back-up must be 100% successfull in order to restored back to your N73. do you have any full back-up from your MMC(memory card)?

    hi nmmatienzo,
    Thanks for your help.

I used my MMC to backup the phone memory. Unfortunately, I did not take the backup on the PC. But, I was able to find out the backup file on the device. This file was created in the backup process.
The backup was successful, also the restore process exits successfully. But after a mobile restart, no previous data is reflected.
    I have 2 doubts :
    1. Are there any restore logs created in the mobile phone ???
    2. Is there any way to give the backup file to the PC suite and allow PC suite to restore it on my phone.

    Thanks N Regards,
    Abhay
