    Angry what does the letter 'L' which follow the function name mean?

    i find some function , for example , ConstructL(), NewL()

    there is a letter 'L' in it , what does it mean?

    It means that the function is potentially Leaving on error. I would suggest you to read Symbian naming convention and basics stuff, would propably help you on getting started.
