    Timer in j2me

    Hi all ,
    I am using j2me its working fine but once my mobile is switched off the timer is not working . Please can any body help me.

    If mobile is switched off J2me apps are not running, so how can any J2me code (Timer included) be executed?

    owh come on jappit, u should know about the virtual offline ghost-engine ? u know, the one that runs code when it aint possible :P

    seriously what jappit says is obviously right
    The only thing that can run is the inbuilt alarmclock of the phone, this will also work when the mobile is shut down...

    Tiger, you're right, but the virtual offline ghost-engine is a super-secret VM feature than only few people on this world know

    probably he's referiring to the VM -> Vile Machine...

    its an evil machine, untrustworthy and very very difficult to catch

    anyways, for the ones lacking humor/sarcasm : it was just a joke just look at the name
