how to create .sis file in Carbide.....

    Hi frnds,
I m new in symbian I tried running HelloWorld on emulator, now I want create .sis file but it doesnt created. I tried to create it using following steps...
    First I m having 3rd edition FP2 s60 sdk, carbide V1.3.
After building project, I right clicked on .pkg file in project explorer n then selected "Build PKG file" option, and it gives me smthing like this....

" ***Building "HelloWorld_EKA2.pkg" for project "HelloWorld" and configuration "Phone Release (GCCE) [S60_3rd_FP2_SDK]".
No SIS Builder info found for pkg file.
    Total Time: 0 sec "

I want to kno that "No SIS Builder info found for pkg file" wht does it mean....even i tried creating using makesis tool using command prompt but it didnt work.

    Thanks,
    Pritesh

You would find this info in the carbide help. Anyway, you have to use the carbide build configuration from project properties. select gcce urel config, provide appropriate pkg file, and other details in that tab, and when you build using gcce urel as active configuration, your sis file and sisx file would be created automatically.

    The N70 is an S60 2nd Edition Feature Pack 3 (S60 v2.8) phone. Use the S60 2nd Ed. FP3 SDK to build/compile an app for the N70.

    Use the S60 3rd Ed. (S60 v3.0) SDK only for S60 3rd Ed. based devices (e.g., N73) or later.

    Hi Luca,
I just came to know that Carbide V1.3 doesnt supports s60 2nd_FP3, wo u need to use carbide 1.2 for N70
Read my new thread "Problem abt 2nd_FP3 and 3rd_FP2" on same forum....

    Thanks,

It does not support. Release notes would be a good place to read information regarding the product.

Its a good practice to provide a link to the thread you refer, coz after some time it might be difficult to trace the thread.
For furthur reference here is the reference to the thread tha Pritesh refered
