    Audio file setting item

    Hi

    I am making a setting item where the user select the alert sound that it wants. Basically I want it to work the same way in which you select your ringtone.

    This is what I have so far.
    The setting item list is created,
    the setting item opens the media file selection dialog (MGFetch), I get the the filename of the selected file into a descriptor
    and I get it setted to the settings class.

    The problem is that after all this, the setting item text is still empty. When I store it do the database and open it again the value is there.

    What will be the correct way to implement this, that it functions the way the select ringtone function.

    Regards
    Louis

    Have you do something like this :

    Code:
    	iListBox->ItemData()->iRingingTone.Copy(aName);
    	iListBox->LoadSettingsL();
    Regards,

    Hi

    Thanks for the help.

    Calling, iListBox->LoadSettingsL();
    made it display the selected file in the setting item.
