S60 3.2 devices have application level roaming ("SNAP") (e.g. WLAN <-> GPRS IAP). This simplifies the usability for end-users. If end-user has defined "Internet" IAP, two access points - first priority "home WLAN" and second priority "GPRS", then the S60 platform will take care of roaming between these data connections, if they are available. Developers simply need to request the connection to be opened with Internet IAP, and the S60 platform uses the available connections without any question from the end-user.
