    CAknTextQueryDialog - alphabet

I would like to know if there is a way to accept only English characters (and numbers) when typing in a text query dialog. I am using SDK S60 3rd edition FP1.

Thank you in advance for your help.

    Cool Re: CAknTextQueryDialog - alphabet

I assume you are using query Dialog for "Data Query".
You could try using EOnlyASCIIChars flag for the edwin Control and write a seperate function to control typical(desired) characters in it too.

This function could be called in keydown event.
