    3gp video in full screen

    Hi all!
    I write a small 3gp player. This is part of my code:

    FileConnection fc = (FileConnection)Connector.open(fileName);
    InputStream is = fc.openInputStream();
    Player p = null;
    if(fileName.toUpperCase().endsWith(".GIF"))
    p = Manager.createPlayer(is,"image/gif");
    if(fileName.toUpperCase().endsWith(".MP4"))
    p = Manager.createPlayer(is,"video/mp4");
    if(fileName.toUpperCase().endsWith(".3GP"))
    p = Manager.createPlayer(is,"video/3gpp2");

    p.realize();
    VideoControl vc = (VideoControl) p.getControl("VideoControl");
    System.out.println("4");
    vc.initDisplayMode(VideoControl.USE_DIRECT_VIDEO, midlet.videoCanvas);
    vc.setDisplayFullScreen(true);
    vc.setVisible(true);

    midlet.display.setCurrent(midlet.videoCanvas);
    p.start();

    But I see pic in top left corner of screen. I whant to play video in full screen, to stretch it. How to do it?

    Please check, whether you need to specify the size of the LCD in the VideoControl class.

    Also Java ME implementation on some devices might not be able to play full screen video. What device are you testing this on? What size is the video source and what size is the video on the screen?

    Ok, Is it possible for you to easily change the original video size so that it fits the screen (now it is bigger than the screen)?

    You may be affected by one or more of the serious bugs described in

    http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...dition_devices
    http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...dition_devices

    which is ruining my application on S60 3rd Edition devices.

    For your streaming video app you may have some luck with

    http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...t_display_size

    but AFAIK this workaround cannot help with setting dimensions of
    live video from the viewfinder (which is what I need very badly!).
