    External Bluetooth GPS Receiver

    Hi,
    i used an external Bluetooth GPS Receiver

    PHP Code:
    import socket

    address
    services socket.bt_discover()
    print
    "Discovered: %s, %s" % (addressservices)
    target = (addressservices.values()[0])

    conn socket.socket(socket.AF_BTsocket.SOCK_STREAM)
    conn.connect(target)
    to_gps conn.makefile("r"0)

    while
    True:

    msg to_gps.readline()
            if
    msg.startswith("$GPGGA"):

    gps_data msg.split(",")

    lat gps_data[2]

    lon gps_data[4]
                    break

    to_gps.close()
    conn.close()
    print
    "You are now at latitude %s and longitude %s" % (latlon
    i get an different signal as with the script

    PHP Code:
    import appuifw
    import location
    import urllib
    import positioning

    def cb
    (event):
       print
    "---"

    print event

    print "---"

    appuifw.note(u"GPS Modul wird gestartet...")
    print
    positioning.module_info(positioning.default_module())
    positioning.set_requestors([{"type":"service""format":"application""data":"test_app"}])
    appuifw.note(u"GPS Position wird ermittelt...")
    positioning.position(course=1satellites=callback=cbinterval=500000partial=0
    In both cases, I used the external receiver. The lat/lon from the position example are correct.

    Good question!

    Perhaps flayoo just misinterpreted NMEA-version's location. But we don't know because flayoo did not publish the result :-)

    EDIT
    I need to convert the result to a decimal number?
