    Forms in view mode

    Hi all,
I want to display certain information like name, address phonenumber, etc on the screen using forms. I am using a form to display the data on the screen. How ever i want this form to be in view mode only as i dont want the user to edit any information. I want to know how i can create the form in view mode only. If this is not possible then is there any other way to implement this???.

    thanks and regards,
    Krishna.

    Re: Forms in view mode

    Hi,

By not using "EEikFormEditModeOnly" flag in form rss you can make it view only.

    Regards,
    Kavit.

    Re: Forms in view mode

You have probably already experimented with DynInitMenuPaneL on order to hide unwanted Edit Label, Add Item and Delete Item commands (like http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph..._Default_Menus shows). There are other elements in that (EAknFormCmd...) enumeration, you can find them in avkon.hrh.
The other choice is not providing Options button at all (R_AVKON_SOFTKEYS_BACK does the job for example).
