Question BaseConstructL() causing User23 when starting from pkg

    Hi,

I currently have my app to run in the pkg file using FILERUN, RI. However, on some devices (E51/E90/N82), I get a User 23 in BaseContructL(). I can still start the app manually going to Installations, and it works fine. From what I read the User 23 could point to mismatch in .rss/.pkg/etc, but that doesn't seem to be the case here since it starts fine on its own.

I tried using RW, and launching it from another exe using RApaLsSession. Any tips would be appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Tamer

BaseConstructL is the method which is going to read your .rsc file. Make sure that it is deployed prior to your .exe with FR,RI.

    Hi,

Files get installed on phone in the same sequence as they are mentioned in the .pkg file.

So make sure that the .exe that u run on installation comes last in
    the .pkg file.

    Regards,

    Sunil.

    Hi wizard_hu, Sunil,

Thanks, but I do have my exe last in the pkg file. It seems it might be timing related? I have seen it start up in the past.
