    Problem in tracking GPS location.

    Hi All,

    I made an application that retrieve GPS location, but when i run it my mobile phone(Samsung SGH i450) search devices through blue tooth, i am not understanding why? and goes in my else part GPS unavailable. Please help me, i am in India.

    That is supposed to explain something about your problem? Hmm...

    As far as I know the i450 does not have an internal GPS but even if I am wrong, as long as the Bluetooth GPS PSY is enabled the phone will try to connect to an external GPS and retrieve the data from it.

    So, which positioning technologies are enabled on your phone and why do you think that the behavior you see is inappropriate? Does it contradict the documentation?

    So what device will directly get GPS Location without external devices.

    take a look at the Location Connection Setting on Device:

    on N95, you can choise ether integriert GPS, Bluetooth, or network... connection.

    How can i do this in N-95?

    Not to mention the all powerfull Symulation PSY tool that can be downloaded from the Forum Nokia web site.

    i founded. and set it NetWork Based. When i change it and open GPS data, Searching for GPS setelite pop up comes. and another method comesEnable a positining method first. Now what am i do?

    try select just only 'Integrated GPS'

    Now you try not to use an application that has GPS in its name with an non-GPS based positioning technology. Instead try the "Landmars" application, you'll find it is more friendly.

    You can use the "GPS Data" app with the Simulation PSY.
