KErrCorrupt in a HTTP Post request

    Hi all,

I was trying to make a post request using the Httpexampleclient(Examples\AppProts\exampleclient) available in the sdk. Constructing the post manually is working fine but when i am trying to make the post with the body from a file i am getting KErrCorrupt message. I only have a name, value pair in my body file and i am specifying the content type as application/x-www-form-urlencoded. I am new to symbian and i am not able to figure out what the issue is as posting the form manually using the CHTTPFormEncoder is working fine. Can some one please help me.

    Thanks,
    Deepthi

Re: KErrCorrupt in a HTTP Post request

Note the word urlencoded. It promises to the web-server that your form is encoded in the url, for example if you check the address of this page: .../showthread.php?t=136049 you can treat it as if you have a form field "t", and its values is set to "136049". So urlencoded is when you see blablabla?x=1&y=2, etc.

    wizard_hu_ Thanks for the reply.

I was using the "application/x-www-form-urlencoded" content type as this whast was ginven in the CHTTPFormEncoder documentation. I am trying to post the same data which is posted using CHTTPFormEncoder by implementing MHTTPDataSupplier.

    Thanks,
    Deepthi
