Making the N82 access point agnostic

i use MfE and voip extensively from multiple locations (home, flat, office, other people's home etc).
in each location i have permission to use a wireless access point and the AP is configured.

is there a way to tell the voip client/mfe and other conenctivity based applications to use _whatever_ wireless access point it can find, without needing to change each setting manually each time i move from one location to another (several times a day)?

i was thinking along the lines of the access point groups that used to be present in the e-series (maybe still are). or perhaps of a wifi abstraction layer that would show up itself as a wifi AP but would intermediate the actual connection at the application layer.

    thanks
    Justin

I have been using a 3rd party software on my N95. I read my mails at home automatically over home WLAN and while on the road, it MfE usese GPRS. Works very well, but you need to invest 10eur:

S60 3 rd ED FP 2 devices (N96, N78) have this kind of feature in-built.
