6110, 6100's http only works on WAP

The simple question: Will 6110, 6100's http connection always look for WAP gateway's port 9201 to route the request? The answer could be in phone KVM's under layer implemention.

I have tried all 3 telcos in Singapore. The J2ME http connection only works on telco's wap APN and cannot work on GPRS internet APN. There is totally no connection established between J2ME phone and my http server if use internet APN.
6110 and 6100 do not function as 7650 which can use internet APN to access internet directly.
Is the http implement for 6110 and 6110 base on WAP WSP/WDP?

I'm not sure which model you are talking about as Nokia 6110 is an older phone which doesn't support GPRS. Nokia 6100 and Nokia 6610 are new color phones which support GPRS.

If you have one of the new phones, have you checked if you can use GPRS to access WAP pages? If not, then your GPRS settings are not correct.
