    Question supported characters in a file name

    Hi,

    all i want to check the supported characters for a file name.

    For exp (? : < > etc) are not supported for a file name. can i get a detail list of them.

    Are they diff. for diff os versions.

    Any api there to check for these file names.. ????


    please suggest.

    There is a list of the restrictions in the SDK Help page for RFs.

    Thanks wizard , I have not noticed that particular doc..
    if i am not wrong i think
    IsValidName() of rfs can be used for that.
