    Launch a midlet from C++ app?

    I need to launch a preinstalled midlet from my C++ Symbian app (Series 60, N7650). How is this possible?

    I know that z:\system\apps\MidpUi\MidpUi.app is the 7650's 'Applications' application that handles and installs Java midlets and is capable of launching them as well. Could it be possible to launch this app and give it my midlet somehow as parameter (like InstApp.app can be launched with a parameter to start the installer for installing/uninstalling a certain program).

    Any ideas are welcome!

    RE: Launch a midlet from C++ app?

    I don't know if it should work but in my experience i launched an excternal application from a c++ application and i used the following code:
    _LIT(appName,"c:\\System\\.........");//app location
    CApaCommandLine* cmdLine=CApaCommandLine::NewLC();
    cmdLine->SetLibraryNameL(appName);
    cmdLine->SetCommandL(EApaCommandRun);
    EikDll::StartAppL(*cmdLine);
    CleanupStack::PopAndDestroy();

    Bye
