    Hello vijaypatidar,

    have you tested this issue with some other Nokia devices? If yes, do they have different kind of behaviour?

    Re: Nokia 6555 video recording

    Hello vijaypatidar,

    you said here http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/fo...d.php?t=137050

    that the devices affected are At&T USA Nokia 6555 and 6126 handsets, i.e. operator-branded ones.

    Have you tested this issue with some non-branded devices?

    Re: Nokia 6555 video recording

    Hello vijaypatidar and DK,

    sorry for the late response on this. Based on testing, this seems to be default with Series 40 devices.

    I'll try to get more details on this.

    Re: Nokia 6555 video recording

    r2j7, what do you mean by "seems to be default"? Does it mean that s40 devices do not actually support video recording? Or this is the issue only with operator branded devices? AT&T.

    Re: Nokia 6555 video recording

    I would also like to know the answer to this question, I am using a 6300 to record video and after 5 seconds it stops, the file size is 99.5k also

    ive tried something like this

    oRecordControl.setRecordSizeLimit(Integer.MAX_VALUE);

    but it makes no difference, please could I get a answer as to why this is and any possible workaround, I have tried flushing the data to the filestore using jsr 75 or just holding it in heap, it makes no difference and each time it stops after 5 seconds

    Re: Nokia 6555 video recording

    Hello dazza66667, jenium, vijaypatidar, amitaggarwal and duksunkim,

    my apologies for this late answer.

    As a workaround, please try setting the size like below:

    ..
    recordControl.setRecordLocation("file:///E:/Video Clips/CreateTest.3gp");
    int size=recordControl.setRecordSizeLimit(1000*1024);
    videoPlayer.start();
    recordControl.startRecord();
    ..
    Regards,
    r2j7
