    doubt abt incomming bluetooth message

    hai all

    i am tring to recive BT msg. for that i used MMsvSessionObserver mixin class and checking for incoming msg inside HandleSessionEventL by matching *entryId == MsvGlobalInBoxIndexEntryId , my issue is project is not able to link this "btmsgtypeuid.h" header file in that "KUidMsgTypeBt" this is there which is used to check the msg is of type BT.

    may any one help me out.

    There are no such miracles, if your code contains the line
    Code:
    #include <btmsgtypeuid.h>
    referring KUidMsgTypeBt can not be a problem.

    Re: doubt abt incomming bluetooth message

    Hi

    i am using uiq 3.3, carbide 1.2 IDE.

    here i just explain what i did .

    i created uiq app using carbide which will produce Application.cpp ,.H file, Appui.cpp, .H file Document.cpp,.H file and View.cpp, .H file.

    iam mixing M class in View.H and View.cpp files like this.

    class CmsgView : public CQikViewBase , MMsvSessionObserver

    is it right to add mixing class in Veiw class.

    i am adding void HandleSessionEventL(TMsvSessionEvent aEvent, TAny *aArg1, TAny *aArg2, TAny *aArg3); and
    CMsvSession* iMsvSession;
    CClientMtmRegistry* iClientMtmReg;
    CBaseMtm* iBtMtm;

    in .H file itself.

    and in cpp file, inside void CmsgView::ConstructL()
    iam adding iMsvSession = CMsvSession::OpenAsyncL(*this);

    inside CmsgView::~CmsgView() some delete work

    inside void CmsgView::HandleSessionEventL(TMsvSessionEvent aEvent, TAny *aArg1, TAny *aArg2, TAny *aArg3)

    if(aEvent == EMsvServerReady &&!iClientMtmReg)
    {iClientMtmReg = CClientMtmRegistry::NewL(*iMsvSession);}

    if(aEvent == EMsvEntriesCreated )
    TMsvId* entryId = static_cast<TMsvId*>(aArg2);
    if (*entryId == KMsvGlobalInBoxIndexEntryId)
    inside the loop
    iBtMtm = (iClientMtmReg->NewMtmL(msvEntry.iMtm));
    if(msvEntry.iMtm == KUidMsgTypeBt)

    iam taking BT msg here . is there any thing wrong with my work.

    Re: doubt abt incomming bluetooth message

    Most people around here use S60 SDK-s ("Forum Nokia"), so you may get better answers on developer.uiq.com. Also note that the include folder is not a magical entity, you can freely visit it using a file manager, and try searching for KUidMsgTypeBt, or just Bt, to see if it is actually defined somewhere else.
