Previously in Pre-V9 it was through RSystemAgent and TSysAgentEvent classes.

You can check if http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...odeChanged_API helps you (note the "Note!", you need the API plug-in pack)

It is not the article which may help, but the API. Download the plugin pack and check KAccessoryModeChanged API, it provides a RDosAudio::GetHandsfreeMode method which can easily be what you need.

    Hello

Does anybody know how to do this (detect headphones plugged/unplugged) on FP2 ? I tried both RDosServer and CAccMonitor (from 5th Edition), but none of these seem to work. My application simply does not start. Any clues ?

    Thanks

    Hello,
given that this is a java question, it is better to post it again into java section of this forum, so you can maybe have a faster and precise answer (not all the java experts look at the symbian c++ section).

He is right. As there are too many sub forum here.It is difficult to view all.I too only focus on qt and symbian related, occasionally do visit other section to see if there is anything "interesting".
