Creating a project with Nokia Developer's Suite for J2ME

I fear it is a stupid question, but I cannot find how to create a project with Nokia Developer's Suite for J2ME running standalone, and therefore I cannot create a MIDlet Suite with the tool, and I cannot find out how to preverify my class files in other ways. I am using the 7650 emulator in the Nokia Series 60 MIDP SDK Beta 0.1 SDK. Help, please.

RE: Creating a project with Nokia Developer's Suite for J2ME

I hope you have already figured out that all the functions in the Nokia Developer's Suite for J2ME are available from the "drop down" box, which shows selection "Create class" when started.

You can create a class, MIDlet suite, preverify, test and even deploy the MIDlet.

    Hi,

I have the same problem but do not wish to use any other tools apart from the Nokia ones. Could you explain how I can get round this problem??? Is it because I have not set the source directory correctly??

    Pls help!

sorry for the above post :/

    i have problems too

i already wrote several java files that needs to compiled.

@ create class: what dir should be source and what should be output?
why does it always creates the main java?
    i have that one already.

do i need to make src, res, classes dirs myself?

If you create a class from the Nokia Devoloper's Suite you could then put you own code inside it or replace it after it had created the directories.
