    How to get CCoeControl relevant with WindowGroup in other application?

    I want to get the text inside any focused(or foreground)CCoeControl with control type(editor,label...),So i must get control object at first. Can anybody tell me how to get CCoeControl object? by RWindowGroup,RWindow,FEP,or any otherway?

    It is an OCR task, you can only access the screen, nothing more.
    CCoeControls basically draw onto a bitmap, and that is all. No interpretation is stored in the background, and you can not even access the CCoeControl objects themselves.

    But MobileSpeak can get any text inside the control.How did MobileSpeak get the text?

    I would assume that they might be using FEP as a implementation point.

    Yes, FEP is being used for doing this. I am trying the same thing & i am able to capture caption & text of the editor controls from the FEP, provided the editor is fep-aware. But i still have no clue about capturing the text from non editable controls. Any help is appreciated?
