How to make my widget "verified"?

    Hello!

There are different kinds of widgets in the library: http://www.widsets.com/library.html

There are "widgets made by our team", "verified widget", "A widget".

By default, every widget created by the user is just "A widget". What is (Is there) a way to make it "verified"?

    Good bye!

"A verfied widget" is a widget that is made with the SDK either by the WidSets team, or some of the developers, but it has been "approved" by WidSets.

E.g. at some point beta widgets can be promoted to widget library, and if they are proved to be secure, they might end up as a verified widgets.

"A widget" is all the widgets that have been created by the template on the website.

OK. But my question has addressed different issue. I was asking how to make my widget verified? Example - I have created a widget and I am not a member of widsets team. Is there any way to make my widget verified? And if there is, what is the process?

Red face Re: How to make my widget "verified"?

    Hi Vitaly,

Thanks for pointing out this verified vs non-verified state in published WidSets widgets.

In her previous reply, Tana mentioned that the widgets need to be so to speak "approved" by the WidSets team, before the initial status of a widget can be changed.

Verified basically means certain specific checks has to be made for the widget by the team. As a rule of thumb, a widget needs to be live for some time, as well as the users not having reported any major malfunctions or oddities in the widget's behaviour.

Still, the widget will be closely looked in by the team even if there has been no reported problems - before status change is allowed.

-->I will be discussing this case still during this week with the WidSets team and hope we can provide you soon a more detailed process description for the widget statuses.

I will keep you posted. In the meantime, please keep up the good work!

    With Regards,
    Marko

Main rule should be cleaning of the Beta-category in few week cycles:

Very poor, or accidentally published example widgets should be removed (changed back to private widgets).

Working, but containing some flaws, widgets should be unverified.

Good widgets with no problems should be verified.

OK. What is the process? Should I send a request to a specific email address? If yes, what email should I use?

It should be semi-automatic, however if it seems to be stuck you can always poke Tana @ Widsets.com forum

Re: How to make my widget "verified"?

    Hi,

I'm also interested in how to get the verified status to the WidSets game I developed. There are lots of widgets in the Beta page (and some are several months old!) so I'm a bit worried if it will take forever to get the status? I'm sure my game is worthy of the verified status

Any hints who would be the person to contact? I read from the forums Tana is no longer in charge.

    Thanks!
