    Yes, it should work. Of course it would be smarter to use a loop than just copy&pasting this 5 times

    Like this
    Code:
    for i in range(5):
      keypress.send_raw_event(keypress.EKeyDown,EScancodeRightArrow)
      keypress.send_raw_event(keypress.EKeyUp,EScancodeRightArrow)

    hi vincent

    i guess the extension for the 5th edition devices will be developed once the final PyS60 2.0 is ready. As the 1.9.x versions are still the experimental ones

    Re: [Announce] keypress module 1.0.5

    Dear friends
    I am using pyS60 1.9.4, and I try to use keypress, but the python can’t see the module. I install the python “shell and python” and the module on the C.
    Anyone can help me.
    And if there is another way to play DTMF tone, it will help me.

    Extensions don't work with PyS60 1.9.x. Only with 1.4.5.

    Re: [Announce] keypress module 1.0.5

    Hi everyone,
    I'm new in python for S60, i'm trying to make a Stress Test program in python and I need Keypress to do that.

    When I install keypress with PyS60 1.9.5 and I do this :

    Code:
    import keypress
    I have this error :

    Code:
    ImportError: No module named keypress
    Someone can help me ?

    Thanks.

    Re: [Announce] keypress module 1.0.5

    Hi,

    That's because the keypress extension was made for PyS60 1.4.5. So you can use 1.4.5 or you can build keypress for 1.9.5 (perhaps using the instructions from the file PyS60_1_9_x_README.txt found in pys60-1.9.5_src.zip).

    Re: [Announce] keypress module 1.0.5

    Ok, thanks for your reply, but when i'm on the pyS60-1.4.5 if i do this :

    Code:
    import keypress
    from key_codes import*

    keypress.simulate_key(EKeyMenu, EScancodeMenu)
    I have this error :

    Code:
    Program closed:
    Python
    WSERV 66

    Re: [Announce] keypress module 1.0.5

    Is your script shell signed with the SwEvent capability? It has to be in order to be able to simulate key presses.

    Try this:
    Code:
    import keypress
    from key_codes import *

    keypress.send_raw_event(keypress.EKeyDown, EScancodeMenu)
    keypress.send_raw_event(keypress.EKeyUp, EScancodeMenu)
