    Re: [Announce] keypress module 1.0.5

    Hi,

Anybody has tried with a S60 5th edition telephone? (either pyS60-1.4.5 or pys60-1.9.x)??

    Thanks

I hope the keypress module was part of the pys60 basic modules. It is simply great!
    Thanks

    Re: [Announce] keypress module 1.0.5

    Hi!

    Iam trying to install keypress_1.0.6_unsigned_testrange.sis

I tried to use Symbiansigned.com to get it signed but it seems to need developper cert?!

I get error "Requested Application Access not Granted error".

Is there any other way to get keypress module installed and working? Or is only option to use opda.hk service to get cert and sign tool to get it working?

Just to be clear, have you tried Open Signed Online?

Yes i have! And after i tried to install "signed" module it gives that error.

From link below i noticed that it might need developper cert. signed.

    http://mobile.antonypranata.com/2006...0-3rd-edition/

    * If your application requires one of the extended capabilities, for example SwEvent, you cannot sign it with self-signed certificate. In this case, apply for developer certificates from Symbian Signed.

And also, why keypress doesn't work in some applications, for example TibiaME.sisx?

    Re: [Announce] keypress module 1.0.5

    Hi R.L.I.S.h57,
AFAIK it is possible in Symbian C++ but not in python yet.
    How_to_simulate_pointer_events
However,if u have some knowledge of Symbian C++, you can go for creating your own module for Python, by following this article :

    Thanks for help.
But should simulation work on devices without touch screen (I mean s60 3rd devices)?

    Re: [Announce] keypress module 1.0.5

I dont think that simulation of Pointer Events will work with non-touch screen devices. However, u can simulate keys and send events to the running applications in S60 3rd edition phones.
