I'm writing a J2ME application for 7650, but I ran into a suprising problem. It appears that the query string in HTTP GET request can't be longer than 100 characters. The application is supposed to use an existing Internet service, so there's nothing I can do to chance the server behavior. I mean that request strings longer than 100 characters has to be sent occasionally. In such case 7650 throws an IOException with error code -9. I tested this feature also in a Siemens M50 and it doesn't have this kind of restriction. At least not that low. Is there anything I can do? Or do we just have to admit that certain HTTP applications cannot be implemented in Nokia 7650?
