to get better panic description see this link: http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...ded_panic_code

Also, try adding breakpoints into your application, so you could check the code execution line-by-line while on debugging mode, and thus could find out the line that is causing the crash.

It's independent of the application program.

in debug mode pointer doesn't reach there up to the program code.

Yep, if it really never gets to application code, then it most likely is something to do with registration resource file, or UID mismatches.

In device it could also be library problem, but in emulator you could not build the application if it would be missing library.

    Any idea it's "Application EGUL2".

note that default application icon doesn't get loaded.

don't really know that particular application, but I would start by checking the registration resource file, and then making sure the UID is corrct in all places (registration resource file, mmp file & the same UID is also returned from application class)

If you search for egul in epoc32\include, you will find:

since enumeration values start from 0, your panic appears to be about a NULL pointer.

Though it does not say anything to me, I have to add...
