After installation, I can't find the application in my Nokia 3650

    Hi,
I have installed the Symbian SDK 1.0 and compiled successfully the HelloWorld. And I transfer it to my Nokia3650 without any problem (I try both Bluetooth and Infra-red ). Then on the phone, it ask me whether to install the new "HelloWorld" applicaiont, I follow the prompt message and finish each steps, the phone tell me that installation completed. But I can't find it ??? It seem just like I haven't install anything ???
    I try more than 10 times ......

    Thanks a lot.

RE: After installation, I can't find the application in my Nokia 3650

There are several reasons why your application would not show in the menu. These are the most common ones:

    * The Uid you use is already in use in the device. This confuses the OS and your application may not show or start.
    * Your paths are incorrect. Check where you are installing your files.

i experienced the same problem. after installing a software i can't see it in the menu area.

    1. how can we specify the uid properly for such a software
    2. when i installed it, there's no prompt for me to select a directory, it only asks for either phone or memory card. my phone memory is too little, and it doesn't run when i installed it on memory card. what shd i do?

    thanks for any help!

For finding correct UIDs when doing development, specifiy a UID in the reserved range.
