    Build S60 Internet radio

    Hi,

I am new to Symbian SDK. I've just downloaded S60 platform SDK, Carbide C++ and UIQ to build S60 Internet Radio, but got following errors:

    S60InternetRadio\group>Bldmake bldfiles

    S60InternetRadio\group>Abld reallyclean armv5
This project does not support platform, build or program "ARMV5"

    S60InternetRadio\group>Abld build armv5
This project does not support platform, build or program "ARMV5"

    What was missing here?

    Thank you.

you are not having the ARMV5 compiler installed into your machine, anyway, I if you want to use free compiler, try GCCE instead.

Thanks. That works with the GCCE, but I've got I/O Error after "makesis InternetRadio_30.pkg". Please correct me what I could be missing.

    Thank you.

    Kind Regards,

check the line you makesis is conplining about from your pkg, and then see what is says, and fix the line.

I checked with S60InternetRadio_30.pkg, it failed at following line:

    "..\..\..\sdk\9.1\s60_3rd\epoc32\data\Z\resource\apps\S60InternetRadio_aif.mif"-"!:\resource\apps\S60InternetRadio_aif.mif"

I can find all other S60InternetRadio files, but not the S60InternetRadio_aif.mif in sdk\9.1\s60_3rd\epoc32. It seems that "blkmake build" did not generate the mif file. Not sure what could be wrong on mmp or pkg files, please see following S60InternetRadio_30.mmp and S60InternetRadio_30.pkg:

Thanks for the clue, there were problems in the mk file which is now fixed.

Now I can run the emulator for the Internet Radio, but the Internet Radio Change Mode only displayed File Player, no Internet Radio. It seems that the Shoutcast plugin engine is not built or installed properly, or is it limited by Emulator? I could not find anything from the document no how to fix it.

    Thank you.

    Kind Regards,

    Jim
