    Please help csr to cer

    HEY
    i have made my csr file and key. i also got an account to symbian signed but i cant get a request for my csr as they have locked it to developers with IDs. I dont have one.....
    is some body able to help me get my cer? i can give my imeh or csr just need some body to process it.

    basically without publicer-id you have option to use Open signed offline only, so that's the current situation.

    publicer ID's are not freely available things, you would need to get one, and propably pay for it. And as the system currently requires you to have one to get csr file, it is impossible to get one without publicer-ID.

    And, as the owner of the publicer-ID is responsible of its usage, I would not think that people would let others to use it freely, thus, you have the option on using Open signed Offline, and if you don't have publicer ID, it is your only option.

    Of course you can do self-signed application as well, and other technologies, like Flash & Widgets for example, do not require signing at all.

    I dont think anybody would use their own publisher Id to get a certificate for you. You might need to get your own.

    Just a correction in the statement. It should be OpenSigned Online.

    @spazz1991: You can use OpenSigned Online in your case where you do not require Publisher ID.
