    Are you sure that XMLSocket is enabled for that version of Flash?

    Try testing ...

    var isEnabled:Boolean = System.capabilities.hasXMLSocket;
    trace(isEnabled);

    Thanks markadoherty.
    It seems that actionscription2.0 don't have the method of "System.capabilities.hasXMLSocket"?
    I have searched the help doc but didn't find it.

    Nokia N95 comes with the Flash Lite version 2.0 pre-installed, and this version does not support XMLSockets.

    Actionscript 2.0 on the other hand does support XMLSockets but this feature was disabled for the Flash Lite versions prior to 2.1.

    HI,

    You can find it here...note that this refers to Flash Lite 2.1 and Flash Lite 3.x. OEMs may choose to disable the feature in their implementations for performance or business reasons.

    Where Flash Video is supported XMLSockets are always available.
